What is a Selekt DSM Edition Hub?
- The Selekt DSM Edition Hub is the basic building block for a Selekt DSM. You can configure the Selekt DSM Edition Hub according to your wishes and add amplifiers, DACs, surround modules, etc. Unconfigured, the Selekt DSM Edition Hub only outputs a digital signal.
What configurations are possible?
- Select DSM Edition Hub as source or preamp: You configure the hub with one of the available digital/analog converters and a line-out module.
- Select DSM Edition Hub as an all-in-one: You configure the hub with one of the available digital/analog converters and the stereo power out module
- Select DSM Edition Hub as a high-end dual mono source: You configure the hub with two Select Mono Organic DAC modules and two Mono Line Out modules
- Select DSM Edition Hub as All-In-One Surround: You configure the hub with the Select Surround Modu, the HDMI module, the power-out modules and the corresponding DAC modules.
Other configurations are possible, such as bi- or tri-amping.

What is the difference to the Selekt DSM Classic Hub?
- The Selekt DSM became the Classic Hub with the appearance of its big brother, the Selekt DSM Edition Hub.
- The devices differ mainly in the quality of the housing. The value of a solid accommodation of the sensitive electronics is the be-all and end-all for high-quality hi-fi systems.
All Selekt DSM, both Edition and Classic, are now equipped with the new Utopik Power Supply, i.e. the new power pack.
Edition hub
The Edition Hub is a case of superior quality and a fully-manufactured construction for improved rigidity, interior isolation and aesthetics - with slim lines of sight, hidden connections and understated luxury at the fore.
The Edition Hub housing consists of four plates that are firmly screwed together. The side pieces have been perfectly aligned with the base using pins, then tightened with four long screws for a snug fit, providing an attractive custom fit.
The primary ventilation opening of the Edition Hub, which is precision-cut into the sheet aluminum cover, offers both the necessary heat management and high design standards. The vent itself is reminiscent of a wave, with each vent cut at an angle and only every other vent being machined through. This wave motif changes depending on the viewing angle and thus reflects a myriad of reflections from its different surfaces.
The Edition Hub has a significantly improved, eye-catching knob. Precision stainless steel bearings ensure a smooth, tactile turn when adjusting the volume, while the cool glow of the hundred individual LEDs illuminates beneath the photo-etched steel ring.
The fully glazed front of the Edition Hub is made from a mirrored glass material that is also used in binoculars. The large format display behind the glass shows information when it is needed and is completely invisible otherwise.
A comprehensive array of ports on the Edition Hub's rear panel ensures it can receive, process and expertly deliver audio from any source imaginable; with a powerful built-in analog-to-digital conversion stage that can work with both turntables and CD players, and plenty of digital connections for video streaming devices, game consoles and Blu-ray devices - ensuring you have the get the best possible sound from the devices you connect to your Selekt DSM.
The Edition Hub also comes standard with the new, exceptionally efficient, highly responsive and precision-controlled Utopik power supply, which is our best power supply ever.
