The inputs and outputs of the device support the latest HDMI technologies. Thanks to ARC (Audio Return Channel) and eARC (Enhanced Audio Return Channel), you can easily play back the TV sound via the receiver - all you need is an HDMI cable.

8K/HDCP 2.3

Experience excellent 8K picture quality on your 8K TV or projector. The network receiver supports both 8K passthrough and 8K upscaling of 4K content. Thanks to the latest HDCP 2.3 copy protection standard, copy-protected content can also be played without restrictions.

Brilliant colors thanks to HDR10+

In addition to HDR (High Dynamic Range), HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma) and Dynamic HDR, the device also supports HDR10+. HLG enables TV programs to be displayed in HDR quality. Both Dynamic HDR and HDR10+ use dynamic metadata to optimize dark and bright image areas scene by scene.

Dolby Vision

The HDR image technology Dolby Vision ensures amazing brightness as well as amazing colors and contrasts. The DRA-900H makes it possible to play Dolby Vision content from compatible source devices and televisions.

Next-gen gaming

The network receiver supports variable refresh rate (VRR), Quick Frame Transport (QFT) and Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) and thus guarantees smooth, lag-free gaming experiences with compatible game consoles.

HEOS® Built-in

Thanks to HEOS® Built-in, the device is able to play songs
Stream wirelessly to HEOS-compatible components from numerous free and paid music services. You also have the option of enjoying your favorite music wirelessly in any room. You can either play the same title everywhere or select a different song for each room. Simply equip multiple rooms with Denon Home speakers and control the entire system via the HEOS app.

AirPlay 2 & voice control with Apple Siri

Songs from Apple Music can be streamed wirelessly to your receiver via AirPlay 2. You can also pair the device with AirPlay-compatible speakers so you can listen to music throughout the house.

Compatible with Amazon Alexa

Conveniently control the DRA-900H with voice commands
via Amazon Alexa. Adjust the volume, jump
to the next track, change the input for your different playback devices and much more
– A request is enough. To use Amazon Alexa voice control, simply download the free HEOS Home Entertainment skill. This requires the Amazon Alexa app and an Amazon Echo, Dot, or equivalent. Feature availability varies by region.

Hi-Res audio support

Hear your favorite Hi-Res tracks with superb fidelity. The DRA-900H supports ALAC, FLAC and WAV formats up to 192kHz/24-bit, as well as DSD files at 2.8 and 5.6MHz. Play HD audio tracks from a USB or other network drive or via Amazon Music HD (with subscription). Traditional MP3 and WMA files are also supported.

Transmission via Bluetooth

Pair your favorite Bluetooth headphones with the receiver to enjoy music or sound even at night
Listen to movies and TV shows without disturbing other family members or neighbors. You can also listen to the sound through the speakers at the same time
and play your bluetooth headphone. This is particularly recommended for family members or friends with hearing impairments. One headphone can be connected at a time.

Denon Installation Wizard

The award-winning Denon Installation Wizard makes getting started a breeze. Just connect your receiver to your TV and follow along
the on-screen instructions to connect your speakers and source devices and perform speaker measurements. The DRA-900H automatically renames the HDMI inputs when a source is connected. Manual renaming is also possible.

Denon AVR Remote app

With this app for iOS and Android you can operate your network receiver and, for example, change the input or sound mode, control the volume, save and call up shortcut settings, display the status of the receiver and information on the input and output signal and adjust optional settings. If you select HEOS Music, the
AVR Remote app to HEOS app automatically. This ensures a seamless transition between the two apps.
