Slimline power supply
The XP5 XS is the ideal power supply for the ND5 XS network player. Its solid, slimline extruded aluminum chassis with a brushed, anodized front panel provides a perfect aesthetic match. As with almost all our power supplies, it can also be used in combination with other Naim components. Low-capacitance ceramic heatsinks, generously dimensioned smoothing capacitors, and a 250 VA transformer ensure high sound quality.

The XP5 XS's slimline chassis, matching the XS series, is constructed from extruded aluminum and cast components with a finely brushed, anodized front panel. Inside, you'll find a massive 400 VA toroidal transformer, tantalum output capacitors, high-efficiency ceramic heatsinks, and large smoothing capacitors. As with all Naim external power supplies, the component arrangement and circuit board layout ensure the most stable supply currents and the lowest possible noise. The XP5 XS is hand-wired and equipped with connectors designed to prevent microphonic interference.
