The Linn Selekt DSM is a modular, high-end streamer that can be perfectly adapted to individual system designs. In its configuration with a Katalyst DAC, line-out module, and power-out amplifier module, it combines the functions of a first-class DAC, a high-quality preamplifier, and a powerful integrated amplifier in a single device. This creates a highly flexible and future-proof playback system that sets standards both sonically and technologically.
Sound and technology
At the heart of this variant is the Katalyst DAC, Linn's high-precision converter platform, which offers extremely controlled power supply and highly accurate signal processing. This results in exceptionally clean processing of the digital data stream, manifesting as a clear, dynamic, and finely detailed sound.
The additional line-out module allows the Selekt DSM to be used as a standalone source or preamplifier in combination with external power amplifiers or active loudspeakers. Simultaneously, the integrated power-out module provides sufficient power to directly drive even demanding loudspeakers – ideal for users who want maximum flexibility in a single device.
Typical of Linn is the integration of their proprietary Space Optimisation, which precisely adapts the sound to the room and speaker placement without requiring any acoustic treatment in the listening room. Streaming functions, digital and analog inputs, and convenient app control complete the concept.

The Selekt DSM impresses with its solid aluminum construction, which reduces resonance and conveys a high-quality appearance.
