The brand new Dali Fazon Mikro Vokal incorporates the DNA of the existing and widely acclaimed Fazon speaker models. The unmistakable feature of the Fazon series is the gently curved housing made of die-cast aluminium, which also gives the Dali Fazon Micro a versatile range of applications and excellent sound quality. Because only with an aluminum housing is it even possible to provide the air volume required for a voluminous playback despite such compact dimensions: Compared to conventional housing materials, aluminum boxes with identical dimensions have a volume that is up to 30% larger. In addition, the curved shape of the housing prevents standing waves within the box, which is why there is no need to fear any disruptive housing resonances.
The mid-bass drivers of the Dali Fazon Mikro correspond to the Dali philosophy of reducing mechanical losses to an absolute minimum. They are therefore equipped with particularly light and at the same time stiff wood fiber membranes, whose special structure nips possible resonances in the bud and at the same time prevents the sound discolouration that is characteristic of various polymer membranes. In addition, the particularly efficient magnetic drive in combination with particularly low-loss beads and centering spider suspensions ensure very fast and precise cone movements. This Dali driver technology offers an extremely natural, uncolored, precise and detailed reproduction at both low and high playback levels.
As the name suggests, the Dali Fazon Mikro is not only characterized by its chic and elegant appearance, it is also the smallest loudspeaker in the Fazon series. Nevertheless, its sound quality is in no way inferior to that of the much larger speakers.
