The T+A Criterion S 230 offers a harmonious interplay of sophisticated, elegant design, audiophile music reproduction and a durable internal construction.
The innovative transmission line technology enables impressive bass reproduction in a compact housing, while the Symmetric Directivity mid-high frequency system minimizes harmful sound reflections. The slim shapes and the choice of three elegant lacquer versions fit seamlessly into any environment and embody T+A's claim: unique sound reproduction in a timelessly elegant form.
Compared to larger speakers, it is a challenge for compact models to produce powerful and precise bass. However, T+A has optimized the transmission line technology to overcome this hurdle. The delicate multi-resonator structure on the inner back of the speaker maximizes the sound pressure in the bass range, while hermetically sealed chambers protect the high-midrange combination.
The design of the Criterion series follows a classic-modern approach inspired by the timeless elegance of Art Deco. The external presence of the speakers is emphasized by the curved cabinet, while the multi-layer processes give the surface complexity and durability.
The Symmetric Directivity System ensures precise localization of voices and instruments and minimizes harmful radiation. The T+A OrganicBaffle Design ensures accurate mid-high frequency reproduction without impairment, while the chassis use innovative technologies to enable coloration-free, natural reproduction.
The double-sided Fast Signal Response three-way crossovers play a crucial role in the outstanding sound imaging and radiation characteristics of the speakers. Precise control in all three frequency ranges is ensured by special internal connecting cables that enable optimal signal transmission.
