The MC8207 is the second 7-channel power amplifier with 7 x 200 watts in the program alongside the MC207AC. It adopts the technology of this renowned amplifier: only 0.005% distortion and an incredible signal-to-noise ratio of 112dB.
Whether 2-channel or multi-channel, the sound of the MC8207AC is in no way inferior to a pure 2-channel McIntosh power amplifier: Pure music without harshness - a pleasure for endless hours of sonorous sound. A special feature is the patented DPM circuit. The Dynamic Power Manager developed by McIntosh automatically optimizes the power amplifier for the different impedances of different loudspeakers. In this way, optimal performance is always delivered to your loudspeakers.
The MC8207AC is trimmed to absolute cinematic perfection: Without a chrome chassis and the VU meters so famous for McIntosh, it presents a completely new design. The VU meters designed from LEDs can be continuously dimmed so that a display is still present but does not disturb the picture in the cinema room.
