The Luxman D-07X combines state-of-the-art digital signal processing, robust mechanics, and high-quality analog output stages in a top-of-the-line SACD and CD player. Building on the design and technology of the flagship D-10X, it delivers exceptional musicality for CDs, SACDs, and high-resolution audio files. Advanced digital signal processing

At its core are dual-mono ROHM BD34301EKV DAC chips, which process PCM up to 768 kHz / 32-bit and DSD up to 22.4 MHz / 1-bit. MQA CDs and MQA files are fully decoded. A low-jitter dual-clock module minimizes phase noise, while a two-mode analog FIR filter tailors the sound characteristics to personal preferences.

Robust LxDTM-i drive mechanism

The drive is based on the LxDTM-i mechanism, which ensures precise and stable signal reading performance. The left-side layout minimizes the signal path and frees up space for high-quality analog circuitry. The die-cast aluminum disc tray reduces vibration, while the entire mechanism is mounted on sturdy side panels, offering the same precision as the D-10X.

Analog output stage and buffer circuit

The D-07X features newly developed discrete buffer circuits and an I/V converter system that processes the differential outputs of the DAC chips. Four perfectly matched mono amplifier modules ensure clear, natural sound waveforms. Filtering of the inaudible range takes place in the buffer stage, resulting in a smoother, more analog sound.

Power supply and internal stability

The power supply has been increased by 50% compared to the D-06u, with large filter capacitors and independent regulators for each circuit. The shielded chassis protects against digital noise, magnetic fields, and grounding issues, while cast iron feet and internal damping minimize external and internal vibrations.
