The MP 200 was developed with the aim of combining compact design and a large variety of sources. From Bluetooth and CD to the latest streaming and radio playback, it uses all sources to their fullest potential. The MP 200 not only allows FM, FM-HD and DAB+ playback, but also offers convenient streaming from mobile devices and from local network storage. External digital sources also benefit from its excellent signal processing.

Although the MP 200 harmonises with any D/A converter, its design was developed for special synergies with the series converters DAC 200 and HA 200: The T+A SYS Link exchanges control data, optimally routes audio signals and leaves the MP 200 in use the T+A MusicNavigator app to become the command center for the entire system.

Radio & CD

In addition to the Internet radio access built into the streaming client, the MP 200 offers three other radio access options: FM, FM-HD and DAB+. Not only the high sensitivity to incoming signals is responsible for its excellent sound quality, but above all the digital intermediate frequency, demodulation and stereo decoder output stages used. Only through the intelligent combination of all these properties does the most classic of all signal sources sound excellent, both on the cable and on antennas.
Although digital streaming content has gained a dominant position, T+A is constantly developing its CD drives: Only in this way are they able to give customers the freedom to choose their preferred sources without restrictions. The dimensions of the slot drive installed in the MP 200 were specially developed for the dimensions in the MP 200 and fits seamlessly into the housing. With its short access times and advanced error correction, it plays content almost immediately after inserting the CD without any playback errors.

The digital connecting board of the MP 200 has two digital S/PDIF and one optical input, which enable the connection of any external sources - such as set-top boxes, drives and players. An additional S/P DIF output is available. The transmission and processing takes place in HD quality.

The complete app control is channeled in the MP 200. From access to streaming services and radio stations to setting the smallest details of each connected device: The MP 200 and the T+A MusicNavigator APP developed in Herford allow complete control, conveniently using iOS or Android devices.
The front of the device was designed from an ergonomic point of view with an intelligent combination of direct access keys and a rotary/push button.

Streaming Client & Bluetooth

T+A's in-house streaming client forms one of the bridges to the outside world for the MP 200. This network board, designed from an audiophile point of view, processes incoming WLAN, LAN and USB master mode signals and thus accesses high-quality streaming services such as Tidal, Qobuz and Deezer to. For local applications, the streaming client is able to stream audio data up to a quality of 192/24 (HD).
In contrast to industry-standard and computer-based standard solutions, the Streaming Client is a complete T+A in-house development and is therefore completely free of the quality losses that are often caused by high-frequency interference signals.

In addition to exceptionally high playback quality, it is characterized by its ease of use: All streaming services and Internet radio stations are managed by the free airable service, which runs the administration in the background.

Thanks to the aptX HD™ technology used, the transmission of mobile data is no longer at odds with high sound quality: even uncompressed Flac files can be transmitted despite the limited bandwidth of Bluetooth wireless technology.
