The Wisdom Audio LS3M is an outstanding loudspeaker system based on state-of-the-art planar magnet technology. Precise sound reproduction through planar line source

The heart of the LS3M is its planar magnet driver, a continuous line source with a height of 60 inches. This design offers decisive advantages over conventional loudspeakers. In particular, disturbing reflections from the floor and ceiling are almost completely eliminated. This results in a significantly clearer, more precise sound that offers consistent reproduction quality regardless of the room acoustics.

Another advantage of the vertical line source is the even sound distribution across the entire listening area. This preserves the sound character – even at different listening positions. The LS3M is therefore ideal for larger rooms or home theaters with multiple rows of seats, as it achieves homogenous sound reproduction without any perceptible loss of level or quality.

Powerful and dynamic

With a sound pressure level capacity of over 130 dB at a listening distance of 3.66 meters (12 feet), the LS3M is capable of filling even large rooms with impressive sound. This performance is based on a two-way system with a planar magnet driver that covers eight octaves of precise sound reproduction – from low mids to delicate highs.

A special feature is the extremely lightweight PEEK (polyetheretherketone) film material, which enables extremely rapid acceleration in the high-frequency range. The LS3M's frequency range extends from 80 Hz to 20 kHz, with the 60-inch planar magnet driver providing the majority of the sound reproduction. The speaker requires an external active crossover and a digital signal processor (DSP) for optimal control and fine-tuning. Two separate amplifier channels are required for operation, allowing flexible adaptation to different room and application scenarios.
