The base is made of MDF and provides the perfect base. The stainless steel spindle of the heavy aluminum sub-platter sits in a brass bushing. The flat silicone belt establishes the connection to the AC motor and thus ensures stable speeds.

Animals (1977)
Animals is a concept album that deals with the dark side of society. It is loosely based on George Orwell's Animal Farm and divides humanity into dogs, pigs and sheep. The music is harder and more aggressive than on previous albums, with long, complex instrumental passages. Animals reflects Pink Floyd's critical attitude towards political and social injustices and is characterized by Roger Waters' caustic lyrics and David Gilmour's powerful guitar riffs.

The Division Bell (1994)
The Division Bell is Pink Floyd's fourteenth studio album and marks a return to a spherical, melodic sound. It deals with the themes of communication and separation, both on a personal and societal level. With songs such as 'High Hopes' and 'Coming Back to Life', the album contains both introspective and epic sounds, carried by David Gilmour's distinctive guitar playing and soft, melancholic voice. It was the last studio album with new songs released by the band.

Wish You Were Here (1975)
Wish You Were Here is an emotional tribute to former band member Syd Barrett and explores themes such as loss, alienation and the dark side of fame.
