Delta-Sigma-Drive technology ensures a perfect sine wave signal in the coreless direct-drive motor. State-of-the-art PWM signal generation with Delta-Sigma modulation , as used in fully digital Technics amplifiers, reduces motor vibrations to a minimum – for unsurpassed rotational accuracy and smooth running.

The iron-coreless double-rotor/single-stator motor guarantees maximum stability, eliminates cogging, and enables strong drive torque. A hybrid encoder with a Hall sensor monitors the rotational speed and ensures stable pitch even with warped records – ideal for precise reproduction of acoustic instruments.

Audiophile mechanics – built to last.

The SL-1200/1210G Master Edition sits on a four-layer chassis made of die-cast aluminum and BMC, complemented by a 10 mm aluminum top plate and heavy rubber coating – for maximum resonance control.

The three-layer platter made of die-cast aluminum, rubber and a 2 mm brass plate achieves a total weight of 3.6 kg – perfectly balanced for absolute smoothness and exceptional feel.

The S-shaped magnesium tonearm with precision bearings enables sensitive tracking of every groove, while a-gel damping feet effectively isolate external vibrations.

Low-noise, high-speed switching power supply

The new multi-stage switching power supply operates at over 100 kHz and combines low-noise, high-speed operation with innovative anti-phase noise reduction . The result: extremely low background noise and an outstanding signal-to-noise ratio – for clear, detailed sound.
