The EP contains the original version of "Fairytale of New York," an instrumental version, and a rare live recording of "Dirty Old Town," recorded in December 1987 at the legendary Barrowland Ballroom in Glasgow. It also includes a previously unreleased live version of "Fairytale of New York," recorded at the song's first live performance and documenting Kirsty McColl's first stage appearance with the band.
This exclusive live version has been remixed and remastered by Steve Lillywhite, the song's original producer, specifically for this Zoetrope vinyl EP. A high-quality collector's item for anyone who appreciates limited vinyl editions, classic Christmas songs, and authentic live recordings.
