For the 30th anniversary of the jazz group EST, Magnus Öström and Dan Berglund came together with Magnus Lindgren, Joel Lyssarides, Verneri Pohjola, and Ulf Wakenius to pay homage to the music of the Esbjörn Svensson Trio. Even though pianist Esbjörn Svensson was missing, his music will live on forever, as these six magnificent jazz musicians proved. On EST30, we hear sophisticated jazz that doesn't overwhelm, but rather strikes subtle tones that pique curiosity. With great joy in playing, the artists created a truly special atmosphere, which the fabulous live album perfectly captures.
