The musical revolt in the 70s also had a few good bands to offer in this country. At the forefront: Ton Steine Scherben! The band around Rio Reiser, which disbanded in 1985, sang against injustice and always for love, without seeming silly or kitschy. In the mid-80s, somehow nothing fit together anymore and Rio began his successful solo career until his death in 1996. All that remains of the band is the complete work, consisting of 5 albums, remixed and pressed on 180g vinyl.
