The Dali RUBICON 5 is a particularly slim floor-standing speaker. Thanks to the hybrid tweeter and the larger housing, it sounds a little more grown-up in every respect than the RUBICON 2. In the high-frequency range, the speaker sounds even more spacious and detailed, and the bass is given more depth and emphasis.
DALI's hybrid tweeter module combines a fabric dome with a ribbon tweeter to deliver a transparent, detailed and spatial high frequency reproduction like no other conventional tweeter technology.
The ribbon is a magnetostatic tweeter. Four ribbons made of conductive material form the active membrane, which is controlled by a strong magnetic field surrounding it. The ribbon's transmission range extends from 14 to over 30 kHz. Below this, the tweeter dome takes over, starting at 2.5 kHz. The extreme bandwidth and the very even and horizontally wide radiation are important features of the typical DALI sound.
The Dali RUBICON 5 are perfect for listening to stereo music or as front speakers in a medium-sized home theater.
The front covering of the Rubicon series is black in all color versions. Other colors are available as accessories.
