Chord Electronics has launched its first-ever desktop integrated amplifier, Anni. Capable of driving both headphones and compact speakers, Anni benefits from the company's proprietary ULTIMA circuit topology and is perfectly positioned to exploit the full potential of today's high-performance headphones, desktop monitors and high-resolution audio sources.
Anni's new desktop integrated amplifier is part of the Qutest range and seamlessly complements the resolution capabilities of the multi-award winning Qutest standalone DAC and Huei phono stage. As a system, Qutest components provide an unrivaled desktop audio solution, offering premium digital and analog technologies for the modern music lover. The compact modular device rack QSS (Qutest Stand System) also offers perfect support.
Anni offers Chord Electronics' recently announced the dual feed forward error correction circuit topology, regardless of whether headphones or compact speakers are used. Anni's advanced technology allows any headphone load, error monitored and compensated gain to be controlled at any time.
Anni benefits from both 3.5mm headphone outputs and 6.35mm outputs so two can listen at the same time, as well as 4mm banana speaker outputs, and delivers 10 watts of Chord Electronics quality ULTIMA amplification, controlled by a dash-mounted volume control, which also serves as an input selector switch for Anni's two line level inputs. Two-stage speaker gain control provides additional flexibility across a variety of desktop monitors.
