McIntosh's Autoformer technology, which inspires the specialist press worldwide when testing the large amplifiers and power amplifiers, can also be found in the McIntosh MHA 150. Three different selectable impedance bandwidths (8-40, 40-150 and 150-600 ohms) and the powerful 50W amplifier guarantee legendary McIntosh sound quality and performance.
A 5-stage bass booster allows personal adjustment of the low frequencies. For enjoying DSD and DXD files, the USB input accepts PCM signals up to 32-bit/384kHz and supports DSD64, DSD128, DSD256, as well as DXD 352.8 and DXD 384kHz. The in-house MCT input provides a secure DSD connection to the MCT 450 AC Transport for playing High Definition Audio on SACDs.
