McIntosh's Autoformer technology, which has impressed the trade press worldwide in tests of its large amplifiers and power amplifiers, is also found in the McIntosh MHA 150. Three selectable impedance ranges (8-40, 40-150 and 150-600 ohms) and the powerful 50W amplifier guarantee the legendary McIntosh sound quality and performance.
A 5-stage bass booster allows for personalized adjustment of the low frequencies. For enjoying DSD and DXD files, the USB input accepts PCM signals up to 32-bit/384kHz and supports DSD64, DSD128, DSD256, as well as DXD 352.8 and DXD 384kHz. The proprietary MCT input provides a secure DSD connection with the MCT 450 AC Transport for playing high-definition audio on SACDs.
