APTX sound enhancement as standard
If your smartphone or tablet supports the aptX codec, it can be used with the BT100. aptX, which an increasing number of mobile devices as well as MacBooks and desktop computers from Apple have, enables audio data to be transmitted wirelessly in a significantly higher quality than via standard Bluetooth. You will immediately perceive a significantly greater dynamic, deeper bass and crystal clear highs.

The standard Bluetooth codec (SBC) is variable in its performance and its weaknesses, such as lost highs or dirty or dull sound, are very obvious to music lovers. In contrast, the aptX codec has a fixed performance standard that ensures consistently excellent quality when music data is transmitted wirelessly via Bluetooth.
