King of Comfort

The Alva TT V2 is designed for people who want to hear records of exceptional quality - without having to select or install additional components. The TT V2 impresses with a specially developed pickup that is already pre-installed at the factory. Thanks to a switchable integrated phono stage, it can be connected to almost any audio system - even wirelessly to high-quality Bluetooth speaker systems.

High definition bluetooth turntable

The integrated Bluetooth aptX HD frees the Alva from the rest of your hi-fi system and allows you to stage your Alva system on any flat surface - because your records deserve to be the center of attention. Music can be streamed at up to 24-bit/48kHz high-resolution quality to any compatible Bluetooth system, including headphones. Alternatively, you can disable it and just use phono cable - the choice is yours.

Integrated phono preamp

The Alva TT V2 features an integrated phono preamp designed in the vein of the award-winning Alva Duo, bringing incredible detail out of your vinyl records. So you can connect the TT V2 to any amplifier or compatible speaker system. The system's phono preamp can also be disabled - ideal if your amp already has its own, or you want to keep the option open to upgrade.

Factory pre-installed MC cartridge

The Alva TT V2's custom-made cartridge comes pre-installed from the factory - so there's no complicated set-up to worry about, and its sound is perfectly matched to the other components of the turntable. Cambridge has developed the high performance moving coil cartridge with an exposed cantilever. It reduces unwanted resonance and vibration, offers high gain and excellent musical detail on playback.

Like its predecessor, the TT, the Alva TT V2 is equipped with a medium-torque direct drive. The 8-pole, 3-phase, brushless DC motor is quartz controlled and ensures a precise rotation speed. Thanks to the precise control and the noiseless playback, the Alva TT V2 achieves wow and flutter of just 0.06%. This means excellent pitch stability - especially with longer, sustained tones.

Reassuringly solid platter

The Alva TT V2's platter is reminiscent of a finely polished stone, perfectly complementing the direct drive motor. It is made from polyoxymethylene, a semi-crystalline thermoplastic used in precision parts that require high strength and excellent dimensional stability. The weight of the turntable together with the direct drive motor in the medium torque range guarantees outstanding speed stability during playback.

Brand new tonearm

After hours of testing, Cambridge engineers have selected a new high-mass, low-resonance tonearm for the Alva TT V2 and Alva ST. By minimizing the resonance frequencies and in combination with the pickup, it gets the maximum of details out of your records. A detachable die-cast aluminum pickup head makes it easy to swap out the pickup, which can then be adjusted with even more precision thanks to a new anti-skating knob.

Design for life

A record collection is lifelong, so why not a turntable too? That's why the Alva TT V2 has been designed to last a lifetime, starting with a top plate made from 6mm thick aluminum sheet and an EVA layer for vibration dampening on MDF boards. It is housed in a composite chassis and weighs an impressive 10.9 kg. A solid construction with excellent acoustic properties.

With a metallic gray aluminum top and matte black base that flows into Cambridge's trademark floating wedge base, the Alva TT V2 celebrates timeless style. It can be perfectly combined with the best-selling HiFi devices of the CX series and has also been provided with the lasered brand logo of the Premium Edge series.

Thanks to the hinged dust cover, the finely balanced tonearm and aluminum platter of your new Alva turntable remain pristine even after playing your favorite records. It's easy to raise, lower, remove and reattach - the choice is yours.
