In addition, the device offers both coaxial and optical S/PDIF digital inputs. These allow for the connection of CD players, network streamers, or televisions in studio quality at up to 24-bit/192 kHz. For those who prefer wireless listening, a Bluetooth module is integrated, which not only supports the widely used standards but also guarantees particularly high-quality, low-latency audio transmission with aptX™ HD and AAC.

An analog RCA input is also available, allowing for easy integration of traditional sources such as turntables with phono preamps or analog hi-fi components. An HDMI ARC connection with CEC functionality completes the versatility. This allows the DX-5 to be seamlessly integrated into modern TV environments – including automatic volume control and power control via the TV remote.

Combined with high-current output transistors in a push-pull configuration, the amplifier delivers a stable output of 33 watts into 4 ohms or 25 watts into 8 ohms—more than sufficient to drive a wide variety of modern and classic speakers.
