The McIntosh MP1100 AC uses four selected 12AX7A vacuum tubes, ie 2 tubes per channel in a fully symmetrical configuration. There are three RCA phono inputs for those with multiple turntables or tonearms, plus one of the inputs is a balanced XLR connector. All phono inputs allow adjustment of resistance (7x) and capacitance (8x).

In order not to ignore the advantages of digital technology, the McIntosh MP1100 AC has an optical, a coaxial and a USB output. Preset to 24-bit, you can choose between 96 kHz or 192 kHz sampling frequency to rip albums straight to your home PC.
