Melco Audio launches the N100-H50 with a modified HDD hard drive: the new model has 150% more storage capacity - the storage volume is more than doubled to 5TB .

The upgraded 5TB hard drive is no ordinary hard drive: it's the same model used in the N10 anniversary limited edition.

The new N100-H50 benefits directly from Melco's trickle-down drive technology, making it Melco's best entry-level music library ever.

MADE IN JAPAN

In terms of design and device format, the new model is based on the D100 and the E 100. As with all Melco servers, the complex production takes place in Japan .

The device with its beautiful form factor requires little space on a sideboard or hi-fi rack. If this component with its "half" size is combined with the matching D100 CD drive or the E100 expansion drive, the result is the "classic" hi-fi width of 43 cm. The units can also be stacked.

A USB input on the front can be used either for importing music or for connecting a D/A converter. Two multifunctional additional USB ports (backup, import, D/A converter, updates) are available on the back.

The proven Melco platform has been minimized specifically for the case size. Power is supplied via an external switching power supply .

The Melco N100-H50 guarantees the same extremely low-noise, high-precision digital music data flow as the music servers and streamers of the existing Melco series.

Via a USB DAC, the N100 can be operated as a standalone Hi-Res digital music player.
