The Melco N1Z H60/2 is a dedicated high-end music server specifically designed for audiophile applications. It serves both as a stable source for network players via Ethernet and as a USB media source for DACs. The device is uncompromisingly designed for data integrity, vibration-free storage, and the highest sonic purity.
Thanks to its fully-fledged dual power supply design with separate circuits for system and hard drive sections, the N1Z H60/2 ensures an extremely clean power supply and effectively suppresses interference. The robust aluminum chassis with its rigid "H" frame minimizes mechanical resonance, ensuring your music collection is stored and accessed under optimal conditions.
With two selected 3GB hard drives (6TB total), the N1Z H60/2 offers ample storage capacity. The N1Z H60/2 operates without a fan, reducing vibrations and ensuring quiet operation. Network communication is handled via separate Gigabit Ethernet ports ("LAN" and "PLAYER"), making data transmission to your streamer particularly stable and interference-free.
The front-facing OLED display provides information on title, format, and system status. Setup is done directly on the device or via an app, entirely without a PC. A Twonky server is pre-installed for media management. Multiple USB ports (on the back) allow for backups, expansion, or CD imports – particularly user-friendly for the long-term, secure maintenance of your digital music collection.
