After the success of the VPL-HW55ES, we are introducing the next generation of home cinema with the VPL-HW65ES. This professional home cinema projector offers many advantages: a longer service life, versatile automation options with IP control, firmware updates via an integrated USB port, an RF 3D transmitter and much more.

High brightness and high contrast ratio

With a color brightness of 1,800 lumens and a dynamic contrast ratio of 120,000:1, you get home theater quality that has to be seen to be believed. Advanced SXRD panels combined with features like Reality Creation and Motionflow mean you can watch your favorite movies in the very best quality, whether in 3D or 2D.

Reality Creation 2 - Upscaling Movies

The next generation of Reality Creation is designed for our leading 4K home theater projectors. This technology reproduces colors and textures that are otherwise lost when movies are compressed and burned onto discs. This creates a particularly clear, razor-sharp image in Full HD, which is much closer to the original in 1,080p. This further optimizes upscaling

1,800 lumens of light output with true-to-life color reproduction

Thanks to an improved optical block, the VPL-HW65ES achieves a much higher light output than our previous home cinema projectors. With 1,800 lumens, images become clearer and maintain true-to-life colors, even in well-lit rooms.

Highest home cinema quality for your living room

Traditional home theater projectors lose some color accuracy by emphasizing green tones to optimize bright areas. With Bright Cinema and Bright TV modes, the VPL-HW65ES ensures natural colors and contrast, even in bright environments.

Dynamic contrast of 120,000:1

The improvements to the optical block and advanced Iris 3 technology mean we've achieved a dynamic contrast ratio of an incredible 120,000:1. This maximizes blacks and whites without reducing brightness and swallowing details. The result is that contrasts stand out clearly even in dark scenes.

Compatible with the HF-3D industry standard

An integrated HF transmitter synchronizes each HF 3D glasses and thus achieves a greater range and greater stability - without an external transmitter.

Updates via USB

The latest firmware updates can be easily installed via the USB port of the VPL-HW65ES so that the projector is always up to date.

Wireless HDMI option

With the optional HDMI wireless transmitter/receiver set, you can get rid of annoying cables and keep your home theater tidy. The VPL-HW65ES can be wirelessly connected to a Blu-ray Disc player, a game console and many other devices.

Contrast optimization and extended iris 3

Automatic contrast adjustment for optimized display by analyzing dark and light areas in each scene without suppressing color nuances.

Motionflow

You see every detail, even in fast-moving action scenes or sports broadcasts. Motionflow technology displays twice as many images per second by generating additional images between images at the original frame rate. This eliminates any jerking and the movements are displayed much clearer and with less blur.

SXRD panel technology

Our SXRD panels reduce the gaps between pixels, resulting in super-sharp images. Because our 3D glasses have synchronized shutter speed, you can enjoy 3D images in incredibly high resolution and with minimal crosstalk.

Dynamic lamp control

Every time you open the individual shutters of your 3D glasses, the brightness is increased threefold thanks to the dynamic lamp control: This maximizes both the image effect and the lamp efficiency.

2D and 3D modes

The VPL-HW65ES automatically detects 2D and 3D content and allows you to pre-select Standard, Dynamic, Cinema, Game and Photo modes.

Our modern cooling system reduces the running noise of the fan to a whisper-quiet 22 dB.

Suitable for home automation

The VPL-HW65ES is compatible with numerous home automation systems including Crestron Connected, AMX and Control4 SDDP. It has an RS232 interface, RJ45 control and an IR-IN terminal.

Large lens shift range

A large vertical oblique projection area opens up more options for placement or installation without compromising image quality.

Perfect panel alignment

Electronic panel alignment ensures accurate color reproduction and a clear image. Color gaps are corrected by aligning the blue and red portions of each pixel perfectly with green.

Manual HSV color correction

This feature allows you to adjust the gamma, tone, saturation and brightness of each color until you get the perfect image.
