The Acoustic Signature TA-5000 NEO was developed with the goal of consistently minimizing sonic and structural limitations. Its design combines innovative technology with high manufacturing precision and is aimed at discerning analog enthusiasts seeking an uncompromising tonearm base.
The central element is the rigid and low-resonance carbon triple-layer tonearm tube. Three carbon layers, connected via special damping elements, ensure effective resonance control and precise cartridge tracking. This is complemented by a preloaded, high-precision SKF ceramic and stainless steel gimbal bearing, which enables virtually frictionless movement and optimal tracking characteristics. The stainless steel tonearm axle increases structural rigidity and contributes to smooth, consistent operation.
For signal transmission, Acoustic Signature uses internal wiring made of high-purity 4N silver. A 1.5-meter, 5-pin Atlas Equator phono cable with RCA connectors is included. The brass counterweight, adjustable VTA and azimuth settings, and integrated anti-skating control allow for precise matching with high-quality cartridges.
The TA-5000 NEO is available in either a 9-inch or 12-inch version and mounts via the SME standard. Visually, the tonearm is available in several finishes, including silver, black, gold, and chrome.
Acoustic Signature offers a five-year warranty on the TA-5000 NEO for products registered from October 2020 onwards.
