The Acoustic Signature TA-9000 NEO is a reference tonearm whose design is consistently geared towards maximum precision, resonance control, and mechanical superiority. It is intended for top-of-the-line analog systems where the tonearm and turntable are expected to perform on equal footing.
The central element is the super-stiff and low-resonance aluminum multi-structure tonearm tube with sophisticated internal damping. This design combines high structural stability with effective vibration absorption, creating the foundation for controlled, precise tracking. This is complemented by a preloaded, frictionless, high-precision gimbal bearing from Timken, which ensures exact cartridge guidance. The stainless steel tonearm spindle further contributes to the smoothness and rigidity of the entire unit.
For signal transmission, a continuous internal wiring system made of 4N pure silver is used. A 1.5-meter, 5-pole Atlas Equator phono cable is included and can be fitted with either RCA or XLR connectors. The brass counterweight, adjustable VTA and azimuth controls, and integrated anti-skating control allow for precise adjustment to high-quality cartridges. A solid titanium headshell is available as an option.
The TA-9000 NEO is available in 9-inch or 12-inch versions and mounts via the SME standard. Visually, the tonearm is available in several finishes, including silver, black, gold, and chrome.
Acoustic Signature offers a five-year warranty on the TA-9000 NEO for products registered from October 2020 onwards.
