Well-designed structure for clean energy
The conductors of the EVO3 Initium run parallel and are slightly twisted – a proven design that effectively reduces high-frequency and electromagnetic interference. This ensures a stable and interference-free power supply.
The cables use 99.9999% oxygen-free, high-purity copper conductors with a cross-section of 3 x 2.0 mm². This material guarantees excellent conductivity and remains permanently flexible and durable compared to solid core cables.
High-quality insulation and damping
A polyethylene (PE) dielectric with a low dielectric constant (2.25) ensures consistent electrical properties across a wide frequency range. This is complemented by a wool or cotton lining, which provides the cable with additional stability and effectively reduces microphonic effects.
A paper sheath separates the inner conductors from the highly flexible PVC outer jacket. This combination of paper, natural fibers, and PVC further optimizes the dielectric properties and contributes to mechanical strength. With an outer diameter of 10 mm, the cable remains robust yet flexible for everyday use.
High-quality plugs
The EVO3 Initium is equipped with nickel-plated audiophile connectors made from 90% copper and 10% zinc. They ensure a secure, durable and low-loss connection.
