The DTDAMP series consists of two 4-channel amplifier models that occupy only 1U in the rack and weigh only 7.5 kg. DTD controllers represent a very affordable processor solution concept for the numerous NEXO loudspeakers - from the ID series to the world-famous PS15. Together with a DTDAMP you get everything you need to operate your NEXO loudspeakers. This device combination not only offers effortless operation, but also a uniform appearance. A pair of DTD + DTDAMP devices weighs only 10 kg in total, but is able to provide sufficient amplifier power and processor power for a system consisting of 2 NEXO loudspeakers and 2 NEXO subs, for example. This performance is achieved through highly densified and integrated components together with a highly efficient power supply and output stage design (smaller heatsinks). The DTDAMP provides all the measurement and protection functions that are an absolute must for a professional touring amp (such as mains over/under voltage, overvoltage or direct current for each channel, short circuit, etc.). The cooling system with variable fan speed results in a quiet and always sufficiently cooled amplifier. Front-to-back ventilation provides rack compatibility for large rigs when running DTDAMPs and our high-end NXAMPS together. Once our NEXO loudspeakers have been selected in your DTD controller, you can almost always start using your DTD/DTDAMP combo without further settings. Together with the NEXO DTD controller, the DTDAMP forms the perfect solution for pure rentals without additional service or when the user lacks specialist knowledge, because the best possible result is still obtained from the NEXO system.
