DTD-I

The DTD-I is a special version for permanent installation with all connections on the back (except mini-USB) in the form of terminal blocks. There is no operation on the device. Everything is set up from a PC/Mac computer plugged into the USB port. The settings are thus fixed after editing, so that accidental changes cannot occur.

The DTD understands modern speaker management. The processor technology comes from NEXO's NXAMP, but is located here in a compact rack housing. The device is easy to use and, in addition to speaker protection functions, provides sophisticated control of parameters such as crossover frequency, EQ and runtime adjustment. Features such as automatic amp sensing, Sub Gain, Main Gain and Crossover Mode controls are easily accessible from the front panel (DTD-T Touring version). The DTD combines effective loudspeaker management with a large, flexible range of different inputs. These include balanced analogue inputs for stereo operation, an AES input and a USB connection for direct audio playback without drivers (from laptops etc.). An optional Dante TM input is also available.

DER DTD uses state-of-the-art signal processing and provides algorithms for high-precision equalizers and linear phase relationships - phase-compatible with all PS and LS modules as well as with other loudspeakers from the NEXO product range. High-end AD and DA converters and 64-bit/96kHz signal processing ensure a dynamic range between analog input and output of more than 112dB, while distortion is kept below 0.001 percent.
