The MBL 9008 A is characterized by its impressive performance. In mono mode, it delivers up to 840 watts at 4 ohms and reaches a maximum peak power of 2,200 watts at 2 ohms. Thanks to its efficient heat sink, it always remains lukewarm even under heavy load. This enables consistent performance without thermal degradation.
Innovative technologies for outstanding sound
At the heart of the 9008 A is the combination of Class A and Class AB amplification, supported by Direct Push-Pull technology. This ensures direct and highly precise signal processing. The unique Isolated Gain Cell circuit compensates for transistor nonlinearities and ensures linear semiconductor operation. Furthermore, the power transistors rest on a solid copper base, which minimizes mechanical vibrations and thus further refines the sound.
Flexibility and adaptability
The MBL 9008 A can be operated as either a mono or stereo power amplifier. Two separately switchable power transformers allow for fine-tuning of the sound to suit your individual listening preferences and room acoustics. The fully symmetrical signal routing from input to output achieves an extremely smooth signal ground, faithfully reproducing even the finest musical nuances.
