The Acoustic Signature Tornado NEO is an uncompromisingly engineered, high-end mass-loaded turntable that combines state-of-the-art engineering with exceptional musical expressiveness. Designed for discerning analog enthusiasts, this turntable impresses with its supreme precision, outstanding smoothness, and remarkable sonic authority – far exceeding its price range.
The robust chassis, constructed from 45 mm thick aluminum alloy, utilizes proven Constraint Layer Damping (CLD) technology for effective resonance control. Combined with the Dura Turn Diamond® bearing featuring a diamond-coated spindle, the Tornado NEO achieves exceptionally smooth, durable, and precise platter rotation. The 11 kg anodized aluminum platter is further damped by integrated four-module Silencer technology to effectively eliminate even the finest vibrations.
The fully isolated AC motor is controlled by the external DMC-20 digital motor electronics. Together with the speed-controlled sub-platter dual-belt drive and Automatic Vibration Control (AVC Level 1), this combination guarantees exceptionally stable speed and dynamically precise reproduction. Three gel-damped, height-adjustable aluminum feet ensure optimal decoupling from the surface.

TA-2000 NEO tonearm – Reference-level precision
The Tornado NEO is equipped with the Acoustic Signature TA-2000 NEO tonearm, one of the most precise tonearms in its class. The dual-layer carbon arm tube combines maximum rigidity with excellent internal damping, effectively minimizing resonances. High-precision SKF miniature ball bearings enable virtually frictionless movement and excellent tracking ability.
The studio-quality internal wiring by Mogami, along with the included external AudioQuest 5-pin copper phono cable, ensures lossless signal transmission. Extensive adjustment options such as VTA, azimuth, and anti-skating allow for precise matching to high-quality cartridges. The TA-2000 NEO is available in either 9-inch or 12-inch versions and is compatible with Rega and SME mounting systems.
