The Performance DC drive

The Performance DC is a drive with a newly developed DC motor as well as precision plain bearings and a belt drive. The platter is made of 40mm thick POM, which rests on a Clearaudio CMB ceramic magnet bearing. The power supply is located outside the housing. You can control the speeds 33, 45 and 78 simply by pressing a button (for records that require a speed of 78 revolutions, a suitable pickup must be fitted). The speed can be fine-tuned (if necessary) using a screwdriver on the back of the drive. The solid drive rests on three height-adjustable feet.

The Clarify tonearm

The innovative new development from Clearaudio transmits even the finest signals without any interference and is unaffected by resonances. When mechanical parts are not touching, there is no friction. The Clarify tonearm is completely magnetic and therefore absolutely friction-free. The anti-skating adjustments are made with a large screw under the base of the tonearm. A special tool is not necessary for this. The weight is adjusted using a screw at the rear end of the tonearm tube. You don't need any tools for this either. At the front end is the pickup mount, the so-called headshell. The azimuth angle can be adjusted here using a small screw connection just behind the headshell in the tonearm tube. Since the tonearm tube floats in the recording, it can effortlessly follow everything that the mounted pickup in the record groove specifies.

The cartridge Virtuoso V2 MM

The Virtuoso V2 is the second largest pickup system in the V2 series. The moving magnet pickups are repeatedly measured, analyzed and hand-selected on four levels. In this way, clearaudio achieves perfect homogeneity of the stereo channels and minimal phase or transient distortion. With a linear frequency response and high output voltage, this creates an audiophile sound of superlatives - spatial, rich in detail, multicolored and at the same time homogeneous and profound; with basses that don't boom and trebles that lack any sharpness. The Cleaudio pickups all have an integrated thread so that they can be easily screwed on from above.
