Clearaudio Reference Jubilee Turntable:
Limited special model
With the Reference Jubilee turntable, Clearaudio is rewarding all sound-moving perfectionists and investors in the audiophile cosmos with superlatives that have never been achieved before. Clearaudio's challenge is to consistently and persistently outperform your own progress.
For this reason, they record their audio history in a turntable technology that is characterized by a globally recognized reference for lifelong synchronization, maximum smoothness and, through the use of armored wood, an unbeatable freedom from resonance.
This is complemented with a 6 centimeter thick polyoxymethylene main platter, a motor housing decoupled from the chassis thanks to common motor mounting, using 18 O-rings ('IMS') and probably the best magnetic bearing. Clearaudio accepted this challenge and implemented it consistently.
Essential details such as a 12-bit digital-to-analog converter, which guarantees a reference voltage in 2 to the power of 12 stages that is unprecedented on the market, reveal the innovative power that Clearaudio makes into an audible experience after more than 40 years of sound reproduction expertise. The Jubilee's reference generator thus outshines all previous, purely analog versions. Courageously and conscientiously, Clearaudio brings digital and analogue technology into precise harmony: the analogue control unit compares and adjusts the reference voltage every 3 seconds with the values measured by an optical sensor with 1600 segments on the underside of the 8550 gram stainless steel saucer.
The newly developed 24-volt DC motor of the Jubilee, in addition to its special decoupling and iron-core-free design, shines with synchronization values that guarantee the audiophile audience an audible 50 percent additional noise reduction compared to other motors. And the best thing about these performance values: Thanks to the utmost attention to detail when selecting, using and processing materials, they are preserved for many generations of enthusiastic listeners, even with extreme temperature variations and running times.
The newly developed Professional Power 24V power supply is already included in the scope of delivery in the standard color black
Technical specifications
Construction principle:
- Resonance-optimized turntable geometry.
- Laminated wood and aluminum sandwich construction.
- Height-adjustable drive feet.
- Optical Speed Control (OSC) speed control.
- 'IMS - Innovative Motor Suspension' (Opposite engine suspension using 18 O-rings).
Speed range:
- 33 1/3, 45, 78 rpm
Drive:
- Belt drive with high-torque 24 V DC motor.
- Fully automatic speed self-calibration at the push of a button.
- Hybrid motor control: A high-resolution 12-bit digital-to-analog converter (DAC) generates a motor reference voltage, which is fed into the purely analog motor control. Automatic compensation of friction and temperature changes on platter bearings and belts. This keeps the speed in the perfect range at all times.
Camp:
- Inverted, ground and polished ceramic bearing axle, sintered bronze liner, including patented CMB magnetic bearing technology.
