Transform your living room into a cinema hall - without the side effects that you are happy to do without. There's no waiting in line, the floor isn't sticky, and you don't have to spend a fortune on snacks. And - very important - you can tailor the sound for your seat at the highest level. But for that you need a center channel.

Well-known director Danny Boyle once said that sound makes up 70 to 80 percent of the cinema experience. And when you're watching a movie, a large portion of that 70 to 80 percent comes from the center channel.

The Evoke 25C is a dedicated center speaker that perfectly complements the other speakers in the Evoke series. So whether you simply want to listen to your favorite music on a high-quality stereo system or want to be lifted out of your armchair by blockbuster sound: everything is possible here.

The two-way concept includes a fabric tweeter with a diameter of 28 mm and two long-throw woofers, each with a diameter of 14 cm.

The brand new Cerotar tweeter

As with the other loudspeakers in the Evoke series, the brand new Cerotar tweeter is used here. It is based on key technologies derived from the award-winning Esotar Forty tweeter as well as the new Esotar3 found in the high-end Confidence range.

Like all Dynaudio tweeters, it is equipped with a precision-coated fabric dome. This coating is applied precisely in the right places at the right thickness to optimize high-frequency reproduction - a process that has been refined for our most exclusive loudspeakers.

Behind the dome is a special component that we borrowed from the high-end Confidence speaker - the Hexis. This is a special internal dome that shapes the airflow to smooth the frequency response and prevent unwanted resonances that would degrade high-frequency response.

The heart of the Cerotar tweeter is the new strontium carbonate Ferrite+ ceramic magnet, which ensures increased sensitivity, improved detail resolution and natural, dynamic reproduction.

What Dynaudio is trying to say is, "Even if you're working your way through one of those Blu-ray box sets that don't end after nine hours, your ears won't tire". And that's exactly how it should be.

New woofer technology

The two 14 cm diameter Esotec+ woofers of the Evoke 25C are made of MSP (Magnesium Silicate Polymer) - a material that Dynaudio uses for the cones. It offers the optimal combination of lightness, rigidity and damping, with which both precise bass reproduction and transparent, detailed mids are possible.

Each speaker cone is made from a single piece of MSP. This gives them just the right stiffness. At the same time, the physical distortions during playback are reduced. It also creates an extremely resilient physical connection to the rear fiberglass voice coil former (it's bonded just below the balance ribs you see around the center). This means that even more kinetic energy can be transferred from the voice coil to the cone.

The 38 mm voice coil itself is made of aluminum and is therefore extremely light. This means that more windings are possible. More windings, in turn, allow us better control over the movement of the cone, which means more control over the sound - even at high volumes and high frequencies. This is particularly important in the case of the center speaker, whose most important task is the correct reproduction of dialogue. Its midrange performance must be absolutely top notch.

The drive system is stabilized and centered by the Nomex centering spider - the spring assembly that ensures that the membrane only moves as desired and otherwise stays in place. The surround derived from the new Contour, in turn, ensures a larger radiation area and correspondingly more "punch". The woofers, like the Cerotar tweeter, are powered by Ferrite+ ceramic magnet systems for increased control, finesse and power.

Or to translate it from the speaker developers' language into German: "The film will also sound the way the director wanted it to". No irritation, no breaks between image and sound: everything has its place.

The heart of your home cinema

Dynaudio designers drew inspiration from showrooms, furniture stores and, of course, real-life homes when developing the Evoke Series. The Evoke 25C should look good everywhere, both aesthetically and sonically. Because in your home cinema / living room, it is - just like the couch, for example - not just a functional element, but part of the furnishings.

That's why the four Evoke housing designs are so likeable at first glance. Choose between "Black High Gloss" and "White High Gloss" (in these two variants, a new varnishing process ensures a breathtaking, glass-like look) and the warm and organic-looking variants "Walnut Wood" and "Blonde Wood" with their open veneer structure .

Based on the Contour and Confidence series, the housings are tapered towards the top. The mounting screws, in turn, are hidden behind elegant one-piece decorative rings.

A really great film doesn't age, and neither does good design. So you can rest assured that the Evoke 25C will remain as timeless and exciting as the classic films you will enjoy with it.
