STAX takes this trend into account with the SRM-D50. And in a set with the STAX SR-L500 MK2, we offer a congenial duo that combines modernity with subtle hints of retro, such as the orange illuminated VU meter on the front.

With the STAX Lambda SR-L500 MK2, a more complex cable technology compared to the STAX Lambda SR-L300 enables an even more spacious reproduction. The materials are also of higher quality, and the wearing comfort is correspondingly better.

All STAX headphones and in-ear headphones are electrostatic devices that work according to the push-pull principle. Due to their working principle, they require a STAX driver amplifier to operate.

DAC driver amplifier STAX SRM-D50

The driver amplifiers for electrostatic headphones from STAX can be driven from the recording output (Tabe/Record Out) of preamplifiers and integrated amplifiers or from the preamplifier output (Pre Out) of a preamplifier. The source device to be played is then selected with the input selection of the preamplifier or integrated amplifier. However, just a single device, for example a phono preamplifier with a turntable, can also serve as the signal source.
