Why Marantz

Current feedback amplification is a well-known Marantz circuit technique. It is designed to meet the requirements of high-resolution music formats and enables broadband playback. The impedance at the current feedback point is limited, resulting in very low phase switching. Marantz current feedback amplifiers can minimize phase compensation via NFB (Negative Feedback). This optimizes the signal path and results in fast, excellent transient response and first-class sound transparency for the full bandwidth. In contrast to conventional voltage feedback, current feedback makes the power amplifiers almost insensitive to difficult speaker loads.

High-res audio format support

The PM7000N decodes high-resolution audio files in the lossless formats ALAC, FLAC and WAV with up to 24-bit/192 kHz as well as DSD 2.8 MHz and 5.6 MHz (SACD audiophile format). Improved integrated phono preamp

Like all Marantz integrated amplifiers, the PM7000N is also equipped with a high-quality phono preamplifier, which now features a new FET (field effect transistor) input stage. This increases impedance, simplifying the signal path by eliminating coupling capacitors and minimizing distortion and noise. The result is the purest sound that can be heard.
