The DAC Box S2+ is fully equipped to meet the highest demands of the modern audiophile. It provides support for PCM files up to 32bit / 786kHz and DSD decoding up to Quad-DSD (DSD256). Five digital filters are available to shape the sound according to your own wishes. Three digital inputs ensure connection for all possible signal sources. Behind the USB B input, for the connection to a PC, is an XMOS USB chip for asynchronous USB data transfer. A television set can be connected to the DAC Box S2+ via the optical S/PDIF input. The coaxial input accepts all data from a digital transport such as the CD Box DS2 T. All inputs are equipped for HiRes data up to 24bit/192kHz. The USB input also offers support for data up to PCM 32bit/768kHz or DSD256. Unwanted background noise via the USB input is prevented by double filtering to ensure interference-free playback. The new aluminium/metal housing offers the highest level of aesthetics and protects against vibrations and interference.
