This all-rounder has received the genes of the outstanding individual components PA 1000 E and MP 1000 E and is certainly one of the most modern and innovative receivers on the world market, because it has been equipped with the latest technologies and components. It combines classic analog technology for the amplifier area with the latest digital concepts for the internal sources and thus becomes the universal control center of a really high-quality and modern stereo system, because it has also received a large number of extremely high-quality inputs for external analog and digital sources. No matter whether you want to connect a turntable (there are optional phono modules) or improve the TV sound, connect a set-top box via an optical cable, or even want to stream music from the PC, everything is possible. And in all formats, because thanks to its high-quality converter, the R 1000 E can not only process PCM files of the highest quality, but also the audiophile DSD format!

To top it off, we have also equipped this outstanding device with all available modern sources: a high-quality CD drive, an aptX® Bluetooth module, a powerful digital tuner, the digital connecting board for external sources and our new high-res streaming client board. This means that the R 1000 E can achieve everything that delivers music: CD, FM, FM-HD, DAB + radio; Internet radio with Airable Internet Radio Service; UPnP network music server; USB media storage; Laptop and PC, music services and mobile devices with Bluetooth!

Our developers have completely adopted the circuit concept of the powerful and outstanding sounding power amplifiers of the PA 1000 E and reduced the output power somewhat. More than 180 watts of output power are available at 4 ohms per channel. The classically designed power supply unit has also been given an oversized, load-stable toroidal transformer, large filter capacities and complex stabilizers. This means that even complex, demanding and large loudspeakers can be driven effortlessly in the highest quality.

TECHNOLOGY

The R 1000 E was created from the essential components of the high-end single devices PA 1000 E and MP 1000 E. Since the housings are the same size, it inevitably has slightly fewer connection options than the two individual devices and a slightly lower output power. The R 1000 E is certainly the most powerful, best-equipped and most modern receiver on the world market in its price class! Our developers have equipped the R 1000 E with a completely new, great-sounding preamplifier. It has many useful functions such as balance, tone control, adjustable loudness, flat function and menu-controlled high-pass / low-pass filters for operation with satellite speakers and subwoofers.

The MP 1000 E contributes its excellent 32-bit double mono differential converter, the CD drive (without push rods), the motherboard with Bluetooth module, digital tuner and new streaming client. Likewise the digital connecting board for connecting external sources.

In addition, the R 1000 E received three high-quality analog inputs (one of which can be upgraded as a phono input), a pre-amplifier output for connecting active speakers or additional power amplifiers, two subwoofer outputs and a line output that can be used, for example, for a radio transmission module. The PA 1000 E contributed its output stages with a slightly lower output, but the same circuit and conception. Power supply concept and power supply also correspond to the PA 1000 E.

The high-quality Phonomodule for MM or MC systems also come from the PA 1000 E and can be retrofitted on request.

HOUSING - HAND MADE

The E-Series housings are made of metal. For the covers and fronts, our engineers have designed complex extrusion tools in which all the necessary guides and channels for circuit boards, components and screw connections are already incorporated. The parts are cut to length, then all the necessary holes, openings and recesses for displays, buttons and control elements are machined on the most modern 5-axis milling machines. This gives us enormous accuracy and series consistency. The fronts and lids are then carefully hand brushed, stained and hard anodized. A complex, very elaborate tool had to be created for the sidewalls, because we decided to use zinc die-cast because of its high mass and strength. These are much higher than with aluminum and free from inclusions. After casting, the sidewalls are finely blasted and refined in several layers with a high-strength special paint.
