EVO3 Sequel
Refined geometry, active shielding, maximum control
The IsoTek EVO3 Sequel builds on the strengths of the multi-award-winning Premier and takes it a step further. The standard version, measuring two meters in length, features a further refined multi-strand geometry and active shielding – ensuring a particularly clean and stable power supply for demanding hi-fi and home cinema components.
Optimized ladder structure
The parallel and slightly twisted conductors effectively reduce high-frequency and electromagnetic interference. Silver-plated conductors made of 99.9999% oxygen-free, high-purity copper with an increased diameter (3 x 2.0 mm²) are used. The combination of high-purity copper and silver ensures excellent conductivity and outstanding electrical properties – along with high flexibility and long-term stability.
High-quality insulation and internal damping
The dielectric made of fluoroethylene propylene (FEP) has a very low dielectric constant (2.1), is chemically inert, heat-resistant and offers excellent insulating properties.
An insert made of wool or cotton increases internal stability and effectively reduces microphonic effects.
Active shielding against interference
A grounded shield made of oxygen-free copper braid (OFC) reliably protects against high-frequency interference and common-mode disturbances that can affect the phase and neutral conductors.
Additionally, a Mylar sheath separates the inner conductors from the highly flexible PVC outer jacket. This combination of materials further improves the electrical properties and simultaneously ensures high mechanical strength with an outer diameter of 10 mm.
Gold-plated audiophile connectors
The EVO3 Sequel is equipped with audiophile-grade connectors made of 90% copper and 10% zinc, plated with 24-karat gold. These ensure a low-loss, durable, and corrosion-resistant connection.
