Lyngdorf Audio, a leading provider of digital high-performance audio, announces the launch of the new CS-1 loudspeaker.
The Lyngdorf CS-1 is a compact full-range loudspeaker specifically designed for discreet placement in lowboards, sideboards, and TV cabinets. For this reason, Lyngdorf opted for a horizontal design.
The bass reflex port is located on the front and faces forward. The tweeter is angled and raised. This special tweeter placement reduces sound refraction at the edges within the furniture, thereby improving the audio quality.

Best sound performance
For optimal sound performance, the Lyngdorf CS-1 is based on the same midrange and tweeter concept as the successful two-way loudspeaker FR-1.

Designed for placement inside a cabinet
The CS-1 was designed for placement in cabinets and consists of a
solid MDF construction with a durable and easy-to-clean surface
with/in matte black lacquer.
The speakers come with self-adhesive rubber pads to prevent scratches on furniture surfaces and to absorb resonances between the furniture and the speakers. The CS-1 is supplied without a front grille to achieve the clearest sound reproduction, for example, when placed behind the fabric doors of TV and hi-fi cabinets.
The ideal way to house a CS-1 loudspeaker is, of course, with the hi-fi furniture from the Danish manufacturer Clic.
