Focal presents Vestia, its new line of high-fidelity speakers

The French brand Focal is expanding its home speaker collection with Vestia. This line includes five models and has been designed for high-quality music enjoyment and home cinema experiences. For the Vestia series, Focal has chosen its exclusive Slatefiber membrane. The Vestia line includes the following five products: Vestia N°2, Vestia N°3 and Vestia N°4 are floor-standing speakers; Vestia N°1 is a bookshelf speaker for small rooms; and Vestia Center is a center speaker for a home cinema configuration. For even more performance, these products can be combined with the SUB 600P subwoofer, which delivers deep and precise bass. In addition, the stands are tilted backwards to create an optimal and natural sound image that puts the listener even more at the center and allows for an even more intense listening experience.

DESIGN & PROCESSING

Focal offers the best speakers not only in terms of sound, but also in terms of design. The sophisticated Vestia models feature a dynamic and sleek design that blends seamlessly into all interior styles. For this line inspired by Vesta and Hestia - the goddesses of the hearth and the home - the French brand has chosen sophisticated finishes: Black High Gloss, Dark Wood or Light Wood for the sides and black or white leather for the fronts. Every detail counts and the metal rings complete the aesthetic finish. The Vestia speakers can also be covered with the grille provided.

FOCAL'S KNOWLEDGE

Focal is a specialist in loudspeaker chassis and has chosen the Slatefiber membrane for the Vestia range. Launched in 2019 with Chora, this recycled carbon fiber cone was a great success from the very first moment. The engineers continued their development work to make it even more powerful and to adapt it to studio monitors (Alpha Evo) and in-car kits (Slatefiber line). For the high frequency range, Focal has chosen the innovative TAM tweeter with M-shaped dome. Originally developed for the car collection, this exclusive tweeter has been redesigned for use in Hi-Fi speakers and is now used for the first time in home products. Finally, the speakers have a front opening and a rear opening for a full bass, creating a balanced bass reflex profile that promotes a deeper soundstage.

Focal has managed to exploit the full potential of this membrane, achieving an impressively faithful reproduction of the midrange and deep and expressive bass. The membrane is made of recycled non-woven carbon fiber and thermoplastic polymer; the combination of these two materials results in excellent performance in terms of speed, stiffness and damping.

The new TAM tweeter made of aluminum-magnesium in "M" shape offers precise and natural treble reproduction.

The speakers are characterized by their understated design and classic surfaces that blend harmoniously into any room. The fronts are made of black or white leather with a fine grain and complement the side panels in high-gloss black, dark wood or light wood in a sensational way. These three versions will delight every customer looking for a sophisticated product.
