The brand new Dali Fazon Micro Vokal contains the DNA of the existing and widely acclaimed Fazon loudspeaker models. The unmistakable feature of the Fazon series are the gently curved aluminum die-cast housings, which also help the Dali Fazon Mikro to be used in a wide range of applications and with excellent sound quality. Because only with an aluminum housing is it possible at all to provide the air volume required for a voluminous reproduction despite such compact dimensions: Compared to conventional housing materials, aluminum boxes with identical dimensions provide up to 30% more volume. In addition, the curved shape of the housing prevents standing waves inside the box, which is why there are no disruptive housing resonances to be feared.
The mid-bass drivers of the Dali Fazon Mikro correspond to the Dali philosophy of reducing mechanical losses to an absolute minimum. That is why they are equipped with particularly light and at the same time stiff wood fiber cones, the special structure of which nips possible resonances in the bud and at the same time prevents the sound discoloration characteristic of various polymer cones. In addition, the particularly efficient magnetic drive in combination with particularly low-loss beads and centering spider suspensions ensure very fast and precise membrane movements. This Dali chassis technology offers an extremely natural, uncoloured, precise and detailed reproduction at both low and high playback levels.
As the name suggests, the Dali Fazon Mikro is not only characterized by its chic and elegant appearance, it is also the smallest loudspeaker in the Fazon series. Nevertheless, its sound quality is in no way inferior to that of the significantly larger speakers.
