The first Lyngdorf Audio built-in speakers
The D-500 and D-5 bring Lyngdorf Audio sound quality to the in-wall speaker market. Following the successful launch of Lyngdorf loudspeakers for modern living rooms, ranging from the MH and FR wall loudspeakers to the BW boundary woofer and the CS-1 cabinet loudspeaker, the Lyngdorf Discreet Series expands the company's range to include in-wall and in-ceiling loudspeakers for stereo and multi-channel installations.
D stands for discreet
D stands for discreet - all models are designed as built-in speakers for discreet wall or ceiling installation and have a wall mounting mechanism with mounting feet. All models also come with their own speaker enclosure, making system planning and actual installation as easy as possible, as there is no need for a back box or closed wall cavity. This also ensures that the sound performance is always defined and consistent and is less dependent on wall construction and available space behind the wall.
Full range speaker design
The D-500 models are designed as full-range speakers, with two passive woofers complementing the midrange and tweeter. Thanks to this construction, the D-500 models are easy to drive and also reach frequencies below 50 Hz. They are suitable for systems without a subwoofer in small or medium-sized rooms or as full-range in-wall speakers in a stereo setup to the left and right of you TV.
Pre-assembled speaker boxes
All D-500 and D-5 models come with their own pre-assembled speaker enclosure, eliminating the need for an additional back box or closed wall cavity. This ensures that sound performance is always defined and consistent, and is less dependent on wall construction and available space behind the wall.
Lyngdorf Audio loudspeaker design and drivers
Engineered by Lyngdorf Audio, the D-500 and D-5 woofers, midrange drivers and tweeters feature soft dome tweeters, lightweight aluminum cones and powerful vented magnets.
