The high-gloss black or white (additional charge) finish of the JL Audio Gotham® v2 is a perfect example of JL Audio's craftsmanship - and how the Americans respond to the needs of their customers who are looking for curated, unique and customized products . The Gotham® v2's vault-like fiberglass composite chassis is entirely handcrafted and complemented by luxurious aluminum and stainless steel accents. Together with the truly flawless paintwork, this creates an appearance that suits and integrates seamlessly into even the most elegant interiors.

A full range of signal processing features are easily accessible on the top of the Gotham. These include a highly flexible low pass filter, variable phase, switchable polarity, ELF trim and our powerful digital automatic room optimization system (DARO). A calibrated microphone is included for the DARO system. Input connections are made via unbalanced RCA connectors or balanced Neutrik® combination XLR/TRS jacks. Also included is an XLR output for connecting a second Gotham® v2 as a slave device. The huge switching amplifier of the Gotham® v2 delivers 4,500 watts of continuous power in order to fully utilize the peak deflection of a whopping ten centimeters (!) of the two drivers. This ensures that the Gotham can play any material without distortion that causes other subwoofers to clip, switch off or even malfunction.
