In order to clearly improve what is really good, we have systematically incorporated all the knowledge and experience from over 10 years of concentrated audiophile development work into the new Audionet SAM G2. From the concept to the last detail, everything was put to the test.
Words can hardly convey what the new Audionet SAM G2 is capable of. It plays subtly and expansively, is transparent and spatial, at the same time supple, powerful and unshakable. He reproduces music in all its facets naturally and informally. The new Audionet SAM G2 is even more committed and impressive than its predecessor in all areas: a wealth of information and timbres, power and authority as well as musical coherence will also make it a role model.
The new Audionet SAM G2 combines outstanding performance and inimitable sound properties with extremely compact dimensions. A rarity on the market of this quality, which predestines it for music reproduction that is particularly suitable for living spaces and, above all, a sound that is convincing. The Audionet SAM G2 masters all tasks with devotion and captivates its listeners with breathtaking authenticity. Its sound is fast, gripping and thoroughly honest, but at the same time full of grace, delicacy and care. Coupled with his contagious joy in playing, the result is an amazingly realistic sound experience.
Technical specifications
The Audionet SAM G2 is controlled by a powerful flash microcontroller. This makes software upgrades easy. The controller ensures simple operation, convenient functions and reassuring operational reliability. The control program enables user-friendly access to comprehensive and practical functions. For example, the two pre-amp outputs and the headphone output can be switched electronically. A By Pass mode is available for smart integration of the new Audionet SAM G2 into a home theater. The inputs can be freely named and the controller even checks the phase-correct connection to the power supply. In addition, the controller monitors all operating states and reliably switches off the device as soon as a critical state is detected. A large, graphics-capable display with a maximum of 4 x 26 characters provides information on all operating states and settings. And of course the Audionet SAM G2 has AudionetLink. This means that other Audionet devices can be switched on remotely via optical fibers.
The circuit concept of the Audionet SAM G2 is extremely complex, technically unique and radically implemented. The input signals are received by gold-plated, Teflon-insulated cinch sockets, then forwarded via gold-doped pure silver solid-core signal cables and gold-plated double-armature precision relays that switch the input signal. The balanced input signals are previously desymmetrized separately for each channel.
The power supply is extremely powerful and extremely fast. This is ensured by an encapsulated and cast 700 VA toroidal transformer, selected main filter capacitors with a total of 96,000 µF filter capacity, a specially developed input filter and wiring made of high-purity silver as well as a capacitively optimized layout with the shortest supply routes. The operating voltages are then smoothed and stabilized by fast, discrete, locally counter-coupled pre-regulators.
As in all of our mono and stereo power amplifiers, we have consistently implemented our ultra-linear amplifier concept in the new Audionet SAM G2. The circuit design is designed for exemplary freedom from distortion, speed and stability. The structure of the Audionet SAM G2 is designed so that the two channels work as independently of each other as possible. Effects of the amplifier that can damage the sound are largely excluded in terms of measurement technology, and exemplary reproduction stability is assured.
In addition, only selected and high-quality components are used, such as high audio-grade capacitors with an electrolyte carrier made from a special silk / hemp fabric, high-quality, tight-tolerance foil pulse capacitors and a high-quality silver / gold alloy for the internal wiring.
