FROM TECHNOLOGY TO OWN MANUFACTURE
In 1992, Maurizio Aterini founds a technical design studio that initially works for other companies. During this time, the special tonearm B-5 is developed, which is still used on Gold Note turntables today with only a few changes.
The B-5 is characterized by a targeted distribution of weights along the longitudinal axis, creating a balanced construction. With each order, the technical know-how grows, as does the company's reputation within the international audio industry.
From a company initially focused on development and construction, a boutique manufacturer emerges, combining creativity, engineering, and production. This allows for high flexibility and close alignment with the individual requirements of customers.
GROWTH WITH A CLEAR VISION
As the company grows, so does the team. In the early 2000s, Elena Basciano, the wife of Maurizio Aterini, joins and takes over the management of the human resources department. In 2007, Alessio Oronti becomes a partner and part of the management team.
At the same time, the market changes: in addition to customers from the industrial sector, dealers without their own established brand increasingly show interest in developing new audio products. For Maurizio Aterini, Elena Basciano, and Alessio Oronti, this brings the realization of taking a new direction.
