The MA5300 Anniversary 45 AC integrated amplifier is McIntosh's proof that big sound can be made available even in a compact space. As the smallest integrated amplifier in terms of output power and physical size, it is an ideal choice for smaller rooms or for someone just beginning to explore the world of McIntosh sound.
The MA5300 Anniversary 45 AC is a direct-coupled amplifier delivering 100 watts of McPower per channel into 8-ohm speakers or 160 watts into 4-ohm speakers. New, dual-scale VU meters provide an accurate display of output power for both 4 and 8-ohm impedances. Like its newly released integrated amplifier siblings, it features the highly efficient McIntosh Monogrammed Heatsinks™ with the embossed Mc logo.
With its up to 160 watts of McPower per channel at 8 ohms, it is powerful enough to drive a wide variety of loudspeakers with sonic accuracy and exceptional dynamics.
The MA5300 Anniversary 45 AC can easily be upgraded with the DA2 DAC module.

Power Guard®?
It monitors signal levels at the speed of light and adjusts them as needed to prevent speaker damage in cases of high distortion and clipping.
Sentry Monitor™
McIntosh's short-circuit protection circuit shuts down the output stage before the current exceeds regular operating levels and automatically resets it when operating conditions return to normal.
Home Theater PassThru enables seamless integration into a home theater system. This turns the MA5300 Anniversary 45 AC into a pure power amplifier, with volume controlled by the AV processor or AV receiver.
High Drive headphone amplifier with Crossfeed Director (HXD® ) which can add an extra dimension to the sound of the headphones.
Corrosion-resistant, gold-plated speaker terminals ensure that a high-quality signal is always sent to the speakers.
The MA5300 Anniversary 45 AC also showcases the timeless McIntosh aesthetic, with blue illuminated VU meters, a black glass front panel, and elegantly matte aluminum trim strips.
