The newly developed tube Isis has the identical digital and USB sections as the 'normal' Isis. However, the analog output stage is based on tube technology. Here, 2 5814A (ECC82) triodes selected according to military specifications, driven by the revolutionary Wolfson WM8741 high-performance digital-to-analog converter, are used. Two ECC82 (6DJ8 / 6922) triodes are located in the transformer driver stage. With well-produced CDs, the Isis Valve achieves such a harmonious, musical reproduction, so clear and precise but also so warm and round, as one has seldom heard from a CD player.
