The Gold Note CD-5.2 is a compact, high-end CD player from the Gold Note Series 5.2, combining high-quality digital technology, precise CD mechanics, and versatile connectivity options in an elegant housing. Its design focuses on high-quality and musical playback, user-friendly operation, and flexible integration into sophisticated hi-fi systems.

At its heart is the high-quality AKM AK4493 D/A converter, which, together with Stream Unlimited's precise SUOS HiFi CD drive, ensures detailed and natural playback. The drive was specifically designed for demanding audio applications and operates with exceptional quietness and precision. It supports CD, CD-R, and CD-RW formats, making the CD-5.2 versatile enough to use with a variety of discs.

A particular strength of the Gold Note CD-5.2 is its fully balanced output stage. Both RCA and XLR outputs are available for analog connections. In addition, the CD player features digital coaxial and TOSLINK outputs, allowing for easy integration into various audio systems.

Thanks to its integrated volume control, the CD-5.2 can be connected directly to a power amplifier or active speakers. A separate preamplifier is therefore not strictly necessary in a suitable system configuration. This flexible application makes the compact Gold Note CD-5.2 an attractive solution for modern and minimalist hi-fi systems.

The high-resolution color touchscreen ensures convenient operation. In addition to clear controls, it also supports programmable playlists, allowing for individual compilation of desired tracks. This keeps operation intuitive and comfortable.

The CD-5.2 also boasts a high-quality appearance. Its robust aluminum housing underscores the player's elegant character, and its compact design allows it to blend harmoniously into high-end hi-fi systems. The Gold Note CD-5.2 is available in black and is handcrafted in Italy.

For users who wish to further optimize the device later, the Gold Note PSX-5.2, an optional external inductive power supply, is available. This allows for targeted expansion of the power supply and adaptation of the CD-5.2 concept to higher demands.
